So, what can you load-balance and make highly available?

Just about anything. We support everything when it comes to load-balancing. For example:

• Web Servers: Apache, IIS, Zeus, etc.
• Application Servers: WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Oracle, etc.
• Web Applications: Exchange, Sharepoint, Outlook Web Access, etc.
• Next-generation protocols, with the capability to inspect, modify, and accelerate XML and Web 2.0/AJAX traffic
• Any TCP or UDP-based protocol such as FTP or DNS.

Complex websites and how we handle them...

A complex website would be defined as a website that requires multiple webservers, database redundancy, and/or content storage redundancy. After assessing what your new server cluster would be comprised of, we would then assist you in code manipulaiton to get the most out of the load-balancers.

We are able to get very creative with traffic rules that can manipulate the actual data packets. If you wanted to, you could even add in or adjust code without touching your actual content files. It comes in handy when you have a large site and want to make a change site-wide.

For sites that require caching or content serving based on the geographic location of the user, you can take advantage of our content delivery network.
